Intraoral Photographs

Being able to take pictures of the inside of your mouth makes it much easier for us to communicate your dental needs. Before, you would have had to rely on your imagination while we described any problems that we found, but today you can get a firsthand look at any cavities or signs of gum disease that we find no matter where they’re located. We take intraoral photographs using an extra-oral camera and a series of mirrors that allow us to capture images at a variety of angles.

Digital X-Rays

Dentist using advanced technology

Our Nomad™ digital X-rays allow us to check for cavities and other issues in places that we wouldn’t be able to examine with the naked eye. Most dental offices have made the switch from traditional radiography to digital X-rays due to the advantages offered by the more modern technology. Digital X-rays emit less radiation, can be developed in just a few minutes, can be easily stored for later viewing, and can be enhanced to highlight specific details.

CT/Cone Beam Scanner

Having a cone beam scanner is essential for any dental office that places dental implants or performs other advanced procedures in-house. The device can put together a comprehensive model of the mouth that’s more detailed than a simple X-ray, which is very useful when it comes to planning any number of treatments. Our dental office uses a Sirona cone beam scanner that can collect an extensive amount of data with a single scan and a low amount of radiation.
