Dr. Keith Lisonbee

Changing lives for the better is one of the most beneficial and joyful aspects of dentistry for Dr. Lisonbee. As a dentist near Brent, he strives to help patients feel better about their overall health and exude confidence that was once lost.

Originally planning a future in the pharmacy world, he discovered he was unable to interact with others – something he thoroughly enjoys. Realizing it might not be the best fit, he shadowed a dentist who built relationships with his patients. Discovering that dentistry might be the better career choice, he received his bachelor’s degree in pre-professional biology before enrolling at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine.

Since then, he has completed many continuing education courses to refine his skills and maintains memberships in more than a handful of professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (Fellow), and The Dawson Academy.

Apart from his time spent in the office, he and his wife Ashlyn, who is a registered nurse, enjoy spending time with their two Yorkies. You’ll also find him grilling, watching football, and playing golf.

Dr. Dan Henry

Dr. Henry has more than 40 years of experience helping residents in and around the area take charge of their oral health. Offering exceptional care to multiple generations of families, he is the founder of Patriot Dental and is an experienced dentist near Brent.

Knowing he wanted to be a dentist from an early age, he went on to attend Florida State University and earned a master’s degree in molecular genetics. From there, he attended the University of Maryland and earned his dental degree. With advanced training in endodontics, oral surgery, and operative dentistry at the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, AZ, he remains an active member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the American Academy of Gold Foil Operators, the International College of Dentists (Fellow), the Academy of Operative Dentistry, the Florida Academy of Dental Practice Administration, the Pierre Fauchard Academy (Fellow), and the American College of Dentists (Fellow). When Dr. Henry is not taking care of smiles, he is often spending time with his wife Melinda, and their two children, Matthew and Kelly. He enjoys woodworking, fishing, hunting, reading, photography, RVing, and collecting stamps.

The staff and dentist were very friendly. I explained my problem and they described, in detail, what might possibly be causing it. I received immediate care, and during the procedure there were repeated questions from the dentist making sure everything was ok. I came in with an issue, received excellent care, and left with my problems solved.

What is the best way to find a dentist who does dental implants?

Finding a dentist you can trust to place your dental implants requires time and research. When it comes to replacing missing teeth using titanium posts that are surgically placed within your jawbone, you want someone with the training and experience to ensure successful results.

This is why it is recommended that you read the bios of various dentists when looking at different dental office websites. This will tell you whether they place and restore implants or refer you to outside specialists.

At Patriot Dental, Dr. Lisonbee is actively involved with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and serves as a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

What do you do if you can’t afford a dentist?

Putting off regular oral healthcare is never a good idea, even if you don’t think you can afford it. Problems can worsen over time, leading to painful toothaches and issues that require complex, extensive, and costly care.

While many dentists welcome dental insurance and will work to maximize your available benefits, others are considered fee-for-service practices – those that do not base treatment on what is covered by dental insurance.

Patriot Dental is pleased to not only file necessary claims on your behalf as well as help you better understand your policy, but we also partner with CareCredit Financing. Offering flexible payment plans with little or no interest, you can pay back the cost of your treatment over time and well within your budget.

How much does it cost to get a tooth pulled without insurance?

Without dental insurance, you can expect a normal tooth extraction to cost between $150 and $400. However, if you need other forms of treatment, dental sedation, or tooth replacement, you can expect the cost to be much higher.

This is why it is strongly recommended that you file a claim with your dental insurance so that you can get the maximum reimbursement. Otherwise, you can finance your procedure using CareCredit.

If you’re unsure how best to proceed, you can rest assured that our dental team near Brent will provide a breakdown of your cost estimate so that there are no surprises along the way.

How can I get emergency dental care?

Waiting to get help for a dental emergency might cause you to enter into panic mode, but it doesn’t have to. Finding a trusted professional who offers same-day appointments for those in need, like our dentists at Patriot Dental, is essential.

All you need to do is call and explain the situation to a member of our dental team. After listening to the problem and surveying the severity of the situation, we will work quickly to get you in to see one of our skilled emergency dentists near Brent. When evaluating the area in question, we will craft a treatment plan that explains how we plan to address it.

With your approval, we will begin to alleviate the pain and restore your smile to look and feel brand-new.
